ReaConverter

With the ReaConverter application from ReaSoft Development, you can easily and quickly convert images from one format to another. The nice thing about this application is that it can do a lot more than just convert images. You can also add, rotate, crop, add a border, or watermark images.

ReaConverter works with 32 and 64-bit editions of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system. There are three ReaConverter editions to choose from: Lite, Standard, and Pro. To get the Standard version up and running, you need to download a 26.4MB executable, run it, then click through a very straightforward setup wizard.

ReaConverter’s interface presents the three simple steps you must go through to enjoy the application’s functionality. Step 1: in a dual-pane interface, locate and add the files you want to edit. Step 2: select the action you want ReaConverter to perform. You have numerous actions to choose from: rotate, crop, resize, adjust color, watermark, add a filter, or add an effect. Step 3: choose the output directory and pick the output format, then let ReaConverter do its job.

If you want to get things done a bit faster than going through the 3 steps presented above, you will be glad to know that ReaConverter comes with a Wizard function that lets you quickly convert images. You will also be glad to know that ReaConverter integrates with the right click context menu – just right click an image and you will be presented with the option to convert it.
